Dutch cropper  – also known by the names: Boulant Hollandais, Holländischer Kröpfer, Gozzuto Olandese, Голландский дутыш – is a variety in the Netherlands, and is known to have developed since the 1600s. Varieties belonging to the type of this Cropper pigeons, a race that is very old kröpfer. The Dutch Cropper is one of the oldest pigeon breeds in the Netherlands and Western Europe.

The Dutch Cropper pigeons is a heavily feathered pigeon of a large type. The Dutch Cropper is an impressive pigeon and appears to be standing on a pedestal with its heavily feathered legs. It has a long flexible neck with a large rounded balloon, the so-called bladder. Properly inflating this balloon forward is essential for this breed. The Dutch Cropper is an active pigeon, but has a calm character which makes it a nice breed to have in the loft.
