The Aachen Lacquer Shield Owl – also known by the names: Cravate d’Aix la Chapelle, Aachener Lackschildmövchen, Cravattato di Aquisgrana, Аахенская щитковая сова – an old breed of Germany, began to be cultivated in the mid-18th century, in the region Aachen, and last in Rhineland. These variants are grouped into OWL types. Appearance is attractive, always happy, but relatively small size.
