The Koros Tumbler – also known by the names: Culbutant de Körös, Köröser Tümmler, Capitombolante in Körös, Keringö Körösi, Корос – are varieties originating from the southeastern region of Europe, especially in Hungary, in areas along the Koros River (Which is also the name for this variety). Varieties belonging to this type of tumbler pigeons began to be developed since 1908 in Nagykörös, especially for the benefit of rapid flight, but in recent developments the trend failed, and then made a popular display pigeon. Some records show that this variety has a kinship relationship with Komorn, who is believed to be his ancestor.
