The Erlau Tumbler Pigeon – also known by the names: Culbutant d’Eger, Erlauer Tümmler, Capitombolante in Erlau, Турман «эрлау» – is a varietal originating from Eger (Hungary), which began in 1780, but the present form was obtained on a crossbreeding with another race in 1855. The variety belonging to this type of Tumbler pigeons, locally popular, and its development is performed both for flying ability and for the sake of appearance.
