The Schiras Tumbler – also known by names: Sherazie, Schiras Tümmler, Capitombolante in Shiraz, Ширазский турман – is a varietal originating from the Eastern Hemisphere, possibly from Shiraz (Iran, southern part), as one of the ancient races, but it has not been known since when it was developed, including the period when it was put into Europe (the EE specifies Germany as the home country). The varieties classified as Tumbler pigeons type are now quite popular, and are known as good aviators. But in terms of appearance, it seems that further development leads more to the improvement of appearance.
