The Criador Lusitano Pigeons– also known by the name: Сриадор луситано – is a varietal originating from the Portuguese, but it has not been known since when it was developed – it is believed that this variety belonged to one of the ancient Portuguese races. Some breeders also believe that these varieties are descended from Show Homer, or also have blood from the Cumulet race. The variety belonging to this type of Utility pigeons, was originally developed as a consumption pigeon, but is now primarily intended for the benefit of appearance.
