Rostov Whitebreast – also known by the name: Himalayan Rostov, Ростов Белогрудые – is a varietal originating from the Rostov region of Don (Rostov na Donu, Russia), which began to be developed since the late 19th century. Varieties classified into this type of tumbler, are already popular in their home country, but not yet widely informed. At first, these varieties have good flying skills, but in subsequent developments have lost the performance, mainly due to the intensive breeding process in the cage. This variety has a graceful and beautiful appearance, and therefore, is now purely a decorative variety.
