The South German Moorhead pigeon – also known by the names: Téte de Maure du l’A du Sud, Süddeutscher Mohrenkopf, Testa di Moro della Germania del Sud, Южно-Немецкий Черноголовый – are varieties originating from Germany, southern part, Particularly in Württemberg, but has not found a record since when it was developed – is only predicted possibly since the 18th century or slightly earlier. The varieties categorized into this type of south german color pigeons, including quite popular in their home regions, have been bred in some countries in Europe. This variety is known to fly well, but from the beginning its development was done only for beauty appearance.
