Luchstaube
The Polish Lynx pigeons– also known by the names: Lynx de Pologne, Lince in Polonia, Польский рыс – is a Polish-originated variety, informed that it has been developed since 1886, especially in the city of Bochnia, the western region of Galicia, and is believed to be the result of cross-breeding with the now extinct cropper race. Varieties belonging to utility form pigeons types are then incorporated into Germany, and gained intensive development. In accordance with its type, this variety was originally as a broiler pigeon, but due to its very attractive appearance, it eventually focused much as a dove for the show.
