The Czech Baghdad Pigeons– also known by the names: Bagadais Tchèque, Tschechische Bagdette, Bagadese Ceco, Чешский багдет – are varieties derived from Czech (Czechoslovakia), especially in the eastern regions, and its development has been going on for hundreds of years then. But the varieties belonging to this type of Wattle Pigeons were only recognized in the permanent standard in 1941. In addition to the ability to fly, the development of these varieties is more intended for the benefit of appearance.
