The Thurgau Whitetail pigeons – also known by the names: Thurgovien à Queue Blanche, Thurgauer Weißschwanz, Turgoviese a Coda Bianca, Тургаусский Белохвостый – is a varietal originating from the Thurgau region (Switzerland), but no information has been found since when it was developed, only mention of this variety has been known centuries ago (possibly from the 17th century). Varieties classified under this type of colour pigeons are already quite popular in their home country, also in Germany, but have not yet spread to many countries in Europe. This variety is informed to have good flying ability, in addition, the appearance is also quite unique.
