The Schmolln Trumpeter – also known by the names: Tambour de Schmölln, Schmöllner Trommeltaube, Tamburo in Schmölln, Шмельнский Барабанщик – are varieties originating from Schmölln and Altenburg (Saxony and Thuringia, Germany) regions, but no information has been obtained since when it began to develop (estimated the 18th century or earlier).
