The Pommerian Show Crest Pigeons – also known by the names: Haut-volant de Poméranie à Oeillères, Pommersche Schaukappe, Altovolante in Pomerania, Померанский выставочный хохлатый – are varieties originating from the Pomerania region (Germany), informed that they have been developed since the beak – first of the 19th century. Varieties belonging to this type of tumbler (highflyer pigeon) are quite popular in the region of origin, even already known throughout Europe. At first, the development of this variety is only limited to white, while other more diverse colors emerged since 1970. Has great flying ability, as well as an attractive appearance.
