The Saxon Field Pigeon fancy pigeon – also known by the names: Biset de Couleur de Saxe, Sächsische Feldfarbentaube, Campagnolo di Sassonia, Саксонский Полевой Голубь – are varieties originating from Germany, in particular the regions of Saxony and Thuringia, which began to be developed around the century -19 or slightly earlier. These saxon colour pigeons varieties, like the other Saxons pigeons, are popular varieties, in Germany as well as in some other countries in Europe. This variety, although it has the ability to fly like most pigeons, but since the beginning of its development only to create varieties that look specific.
