Łódzki pstry
Stork Pigeon Lodz – also known by the names: Culbutant de Lodz Cigogne, Lodzer Gestorchter, Capitombolante in Lodz Cicogna, Аистовый голубь из Лодзи – is a varietal originating from Poland, especially developed in the Lodz region and beyond, in the first half of the 20th century. The varieties grouped into the tumbler type, were originally creations of local ranchers in Lodz, but have now expanded into various parts of Poland, even bred in several other countries in Europe. This variety has good flying ability, but the uniqueness of appearance remains a developmental focus for breeders.
Lodz pigeons; Tall, head and neck as long as possible, with a curved body, a lively pattern, fully high limbs, strong and well-fitting feathers form a flying pigeon type.
