Sarajewo Roller – also known by the names: Rouleur de Sarajewo, Sarajevoroller, Rotolatore in Sarajevo, Сараево роллер – are varieties originating from Bosnia-Herzegovina (although there are notes indicating that the original was incorporated from Izmir, Turkey), which began to be developed in the first decade of the 20th century. Some breeders believe that these varieties are descended from the Oriental Roller. Varieties classified as Tumbler type are now quite popular in many countries, starting from the 1970s period, mainly because it has great flying skills. This variety is informed to have the character of “original roller“, with the ability to perform acrobatic movements in the air. In addition, his appearance is also quite unique.
