The Thuringian Wing Pigeon – also known by the names: Pigeon de Thur à Ailes Colorées, Thüringer Flügeltaube, Colombo in Turingia ad Ali Colorate, Тюрингский Летный Голубь – are varieties originating from Germany, especially from the southern Thuringia region, as well from Bohemia (with different styles), but no information has been found since when it was developed (estimated in the 1900s). This variety has been very popular in the country of origin, has also spread to various countries. Varieties incorporated into this type of Colour pigeons are known to have good flying skills, but the aspect of appearance is more of an attraction.
