Tukish Kelebek Fancy Pigeons – commonly referred to as Kelebek, Kelebek Turkish Tumbler, Kelebek Tyrkneska, Kelebek Bicchiere Turco – is a brasal variety from the Anatolia (Turkey) region, which has not been obtained information since when it was developed, only declared as one of the ancient races in the country (as old and together with Takla). This variety is known throughout Turkey, is second only to Takla. These varieties classified as roller pigeons types, by some breeders, are thought to be the ancestors of Macedonian and Wuta varieties – and even breeders and fanciers only recognize this variety as Turkish Tumbler. This variety has great flying ability, although in terms of appearance it looks ordinary.
