The German Modena – also known by the names: Modène Type Allemand, Deutsche Modeneser, Modenese Tedesco, Немецкая модена – are varieties originally from Italy, then incorporated into Germany in 1870, and in Germany this is then carried out the breeding intensive (so known as the German varieties). Varieties belonging to this type of Utility hen pigeons were originally developed as “flying kits”, but in subsequent developments are more intended as a display pigeon.
