The Revellois pigeons – also known by names: Colombo in Revelles, Ревеллос – are varieties derived from Francis, especially from Revelles (Somme Amiens district), which began to be developed since the 1970s, and after going through a selection process of about 10 year, this variety was later recognized in the permanent standard in 1981. Varieties belonging to Utility form pigeons type are believed to be the result of cross-breeding of the Cauchois race, and the King race.
