The origin of the breed; One of the oldest breeds of Uzbek pigeons, “Bukhara” flight-playing pigeons preserved their color and feather pattern without changing. The “Bukhara” pigeons were the ancestors of the modern two-toed furry “flying game” and “show” pigeon breeds in Uzbekistan. “Bukhara” pigeons have been used in breeding studies to improve the color, summer and game quality of many breeds of pigeons in the Central Asian region.

Currently, with the purposeful selection of Bukhara pigeon breeders, the exterior performance of modern “Bukhara” pigeons in the direction of flight has been significantly improved.
