Saddle Homer pigeon – also known by the names: American Saddle Homer, Saddleback Homer, Flying Saddle Homer – is a varietal originating from the United States, but it has not been known since when it was developed, there is only a note that this varieties belong to this Form pigeons type first published in 1948, through the American Pigeon Journal (probably already in existence since the late 19th century). This variety is quite popular in the country of origin, although in Europe is still not common. In addition to having great flying skills, these varieties also look attractive, beautiful.
