The Fancy pigeon Texan Pioneer – also known by the names: Texan, Texaner, Texano, Тексан-Пионер – is a variety that comes from Texas (USA), was developed by Del James, in the late 1950s and in 1960, with French mondain use as the parent for crossing. This variety is gaining recognition in the permanent standard of USA in 1961, and a permanent standard German in 1972.
