The Harzburg Trumpeter – also known by the names: Tambour de Harzbourg, Harzburger Trommeltaube, Tamburo in Harzburg, Харцбургский барабанщик – is a variety derived from Bad Harzburg (Germany), developed in 1970. Varieties belonging to this type trumpeter pigeons is the result of a cross-breeding German Double-crested with Dresden. Although these varieties are capable of flying, but its development is entirely devoted to the beauty of appearance.
