The Prachen Kanik pigeon – also known by the names: Kanik, Prachener Kanik, Kanik in Praga, Прахенский каник – is a variety derived from the Prachener region (southern Bohemia, Czech / Czechoslovakia), which has been recognized since 1932 – while in Germany recognized in 1973. Varieties belonging to this type of Utility form pigeons include very popular, even claimed as one of the favorite varieties in the world of fancy pigeon. Have excellent flying skills, as well as an elegant appearance.
