The German Beak-crested Trumpeter – also known by the names: Tambour Allemand à Simple Visière, Deutsche Schnabelkuppige Trommeltaube, Tamburo Tedesco a Ciuffo Nasale, Носочубый немецкий барабанщик – are varieties originating from the Thuringia and Saxon regions (both in Germany), which began to be developed since the early 1900s, and is believed to be the result of cross-breeding between Color Pigeon races with Double-crested Trumpeter. Varieties belonging to this type TRUMPETER despite having good flying ability, but its development is now more intended for the show.
