Smijter vormduiven
Smiter pigeons – or also known by the names: Smyter, Смитер (ударник) – are varieties that come from the region of Antwerp (Belgium), but have not found information since when it began to be developed – estimates from the 18th century. This variety is not widely publicized widely, although it is considered popular in its home country, especially in Antwerp which is farmed in agricultural areas. Some breeders conclude that the population of this variety belongs to a rare category (experiencing a decline in population). Varieties classified into the Utility type, have excellent flight ability, but it seems that the appearance aspect is far more attractive in development.
