Szolnoki Bagdetta
The Fancy pigeon Szolnok Baghdad – also known by the names: Bagadais de Szolnok, Szolnoker Bagdette, Bagadese in Szolnok, Сольнокский Багдет – is a variety that comes from the region (Hungary), in the center of the Great Plain, in Szolnok and its immediate surroundings, where it was bred in the 1920s by crossing carriers, dragons, and homer pigeons. Its variety description was adopted in 1954.
Strong-bodied, larger-bodied, muscular pigeon breed than the pigeons. Its main features are head, posture and intense color. Physique, posture Medium-high, strong pigeon. Slightly elongated, with slightly raised breasts. The live weight of adult pigeons varies between 600 and 650 grams.
Beak: Slightly downward, thick, case-like, 30mm long, the tip of the upper beak is inclined to the lower beak, but closes with it in a case-like manner.
