The Carrier Pigeons – also known by the name: Карьер – is a British-derived variety, which has been developed since 1735, believed to be descended from Persian pigeons. In the early days, the varieties belonging to this wattle type were Old English Carriers, developed as messenger pigeons (dove post). But now, the role and function of this variety is really just for fun, because the whole role is replaced by Racing Homer varieties. In subsequent developments, these varieties spread to various countries, among others incorporated into America in the mid-19th century.
