Ankut Trumpeter — is a variety originating from Turkey, which is believed to have existed for a long time (old race), but has spread to various countries, including Russia through Central Asia and Europe through Anatolia. Ornamental pigeons which are classified into the Trumpeter type, have two other close relatives, namely Demkesh and Kumru. Ankut and his relatives are known for their distinctive features of the ability to sound trumpets, which are recognized as “mysticism of Sufism” or “Turkish music”.
